I battle woke, nonsense (packaged as DEI) on my state university campus. I am a tenured professor and I encourage ALL others to stand united and get the weak, social-justice administrators fired immediately! I am very active in writing articles and posting on LinkedIn. There's definitely overlap between authoritarian tactics to silence dissent and what the Woke are doing. I recall a thread from a few years ago discussing prisoners of war and how the prison staff would slowly reprogram these prisoners to think differently. Couldn't find that thread but your comment reminded me of it.
Accurate enough, but yesterday's news at this point. The university system, with perhaps a tiny number of exceptions, no longer functions as a university at all, but rather as a Cathedral. It is a religious institution which exerts its power by pretending that it is not. Its legitimacy must therefore be rejected outright, as the entire facade is now obsolete and unfit for purpose.
